MICHAEL F. WILKES

Michael Wilkes was born in Cologne, New Jersey, in 1958. He attained Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Philosophy from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, where he graduated magna cum laude in 1980. He later obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia in 1983.

Michael then moved to Brevard County, Florida, where he practiced with the Public Defender’s office for the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit.  In 1986, he assumed a position as a litigator with a firm in Rockledge concentrating in the field of personal injury and workers’ compensation.

In 1993, Michael opened his own practice concentrating in these fields and handling cases throughout the state. Today, Michael has continues to represent those injured or killed by the negligence of others including car, motorcycle, boating and slip & fall accidents. Michael also continues to represent injured workers in state and federal workers’ compensation claims including claims under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and the Defense Base Act.
