John Hedrick, a native Floridian, received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Florida in 1982 and was admitted to the Florida Bar the same year.

John practiced for more than 16 years in Brevard County as defense counsel for insurance companies in personal injury litigation, gaining critical knowledge and insight into the processes and strategies involved with personal injury claims. 

In 2000, John formed Wilkes & Hedrick, P.A., with Michael Wilkes. Since then, he has applied his insurance defense experience to personal injury and workers' compensation cases. He has litigated motor vehicle accident, slip and fall, wrongful death, product liability, insurance coverage and business disputes cases.
